Sessions

As your Solution Focused Hypnotherapist I will work with you in
a professional, clinical and collaborative way
I can offer help to you if you are experiencing confidence and self-esteem issues.

A series of sessions can also help (if necessary in conjunction with medication)
in addressing aspects and symptoms of stress, low mood, anxiety (including panic attacks),
and in helping you to cope better with physical issues such as
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and certain diagnosed 
chronic pain conditions.

Specific phobias such as fear of spiders, water, needles, flying, and public speaking
can also be minimised, along with painful memories and traumatic experiences.

Stress & anxiety

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy in particular combines an understanding of neuroscience, classic Solution Focused Brief Therapy techniques and hypnotherapy to empower you to master your own anxiety with relative ease. Clients notice feeling more able to focus on more gentle, supportive positive thoughts, actions and interactions.

IBS

Stress and anxiety release hormones that increases the heart rate in order to pump more blood to our muscles when we are under threat. The same hormones seem to aggravate IBS symptoms as well as affect our microbiome - the balance of gut bacteria in our stomachs. Amazingly hypnotherapy can also positively affect the microbiome and energy levels to get out and about again.

Confidence

During your initial consultation, I will explain how the brain works in relation to low confidence. How we suffer in the way we do and what we can do about it. This explanation will help you gain an understanding of why you feel the way you do and also helps you identify how you can begin to create your life in gentle steps forward.

Phobias

Hypnotherapy can be highly effective in permanently eradicating phobias and panic attacks. You will learn all about your brain in relation to your specific problem and, above all, the ways of stopping panic in its tracks. Most clients find that their panic attacks simply stop happening. Clients tell us they have regained their freedom, confidence and courage through the process.

Low Mood

If you have been feeling low, it's likely that you are experiencing negative thought patterns, and that you may be feeling overwhelmed with seemingly unsolvable problems. By engaging in a regular programme of hypnotherapy it can help you to feel calmer, and more in control so you can get back to what you love doing again.

Sleep disruption

Both regular patterns of sleep and hypnotherapy help us resolve anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, and so forth. One of the most powerful and readily-observed phenomena when undertaking a course of hypnotherapy is that sleep patterns become more settled. You will start to get the real you back and rediscover your natural energy levels and flow.

How does Solution Focused Hypnotherapy help?
  • When you invest in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy you are supported to focus on the present and the future and not on the past. As your Solution Focused Hypnotherapist I will invite you to consider your preferred future, for instance asking you solution-orientated questions such as:
“What would be better if the problem had improved?”
or “What would have changed?”.
  • This enables you to connect with your own possible solutions so they become more obvious.
  • This begins over the course of your sessions to gives you specific, time based goals to work towards, at your pace on your terms.
  • The hypnosis part of the sessions and MP3 track you are giving to listen to daily before going to sleep support you to reduce anxiety, and this is done very simply through relaxation and visualisation, allowing you to focus on the positive aspects of you life.
  • Over the course of your sessions this enables you to make incremental shifts in perspective.
